Book A Luxurious Holiday at Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi Bangkok
Le Méridien is an upscale, design-focused international hotel brand with a European perspective. It was originally founded by Air France in 1972 and is now a member of the Marriott family.
Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa is the only 5 star resort in close proximity to Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Guests enjoy complimentary airport shuttle service every 30 minutes 24 hours a day.
Before visiting the luxurious golf and spa resort, we had the opportunity to stay at sister properties in Thailand: Le Méridien Bangkok and Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort.

The resort originally opened in 2014 within the scenic 18-hole Summit Windmill Golf Club, making it the perfect escape from the city for those looking to enjoy a nature break.
The inspiration for the hotel’s overall design goes back in time when Samut Prakarn, the province where Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi is located, was Pak Nam city, which literally means mouth of the river.
As seen in the lobby, the ceiling is forged in to a massive curve wooden frame in homage of the Chinese boats that did business with Thailand way back when. The breezy lobby is also surrounded by pretty ponds, portraying a Chinese boat floating in the river. Upon check-in art lovers will also delight at the wooden sculptures of fishing hooks and traps.

Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi Hotel Activities
Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi Bangkok features 223 rooms and suites, all of which offer large private balconies facing a scenic golf course.
The fitness centre can be found on the 2nd floor. Guests can work out 24 hours a day while enjoying a panoramic golf course view through floor to ceiling windows. Workout equipment is by Technogym. Popular Weekend Sunrise Yoga classes are available Saturday and Sunday mornings, on the infinity lawn.
The popular Bangkok golf resort offers two swimming pools: a 25m infinity pool and shallow pool for kids. During the daytime take a break from your swim by ordering from the pool-side pop-up bar serving cocktails, beer, wines and light snacks.

Explore Spa by Le Méridien is the hotel’s wellness retreat perfect for a day of pampering. Spend a day relaxing while indulging in a massage, body wrap or facial.
Summit Windmill Golf Club is one of Bangkok’s most beautiful 18-hole courses, boasting 160 acres of landscaped gardens and man-made lakes. Take a golf lesson, swing on the putting green or join friends for a round.
Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi features 3 distinct dining outlets, from al fresco Italian to classy cocktail bar.

Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi Hotel Accommodation
The most important question you have to ask yourself when reading a Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Hotel review is, “what type of accommodation would I like to book for my holiday.”

Latitude 13°
The resort’s all day cafe and cocktail bar serves quality Illy coffee in the mornings best paired with flaky French pastries.
In the afternoon, Latitude 13° serves a traditional afternoon tea created by Executive Chef Poramate. During my December high tea break I enjoyed a hot pot of Earl Grey with a two-tiered Christmas-inspired sweets and savouries.
Highlights from the high service at Latitude 13° include fresh berry filled macarons, custard tarts topped with fresh fruit, strawberry cakes, beef mini burgers, Coronation curry chicken sandwiches, plus classic scones served with james and sweet cream.

In the evening once the sun has set Latitude 13° transforms into a moody lounge. Enjoy live music by Dao and friends every Tuesday to Saturday between 9 and 11:30pm.
While musicians croon, hop up at the bar and watch the resident bartender shake up craft cocktails with our favourite being the creamy Limonada de Coco.
