DOBBERNATIONLOVES is an award-winning lifestyle publication created by Toronto-based writer and photographer Andrew John Virtue Dobson. Launched in 2006 as a culinary tourism diary, Andrew’s informative and entertaining food and travel stories documented his three-year trip around the globe.
DOBBERNATIONLOVES currently enjoys over 2 million visitors a year, approximately 180,000 a month. Top visitation by country is USA, Canada and UK with Toronto being the largest audience by city.

A History of Well-Researched Journalism
Andrew John Virtue Dobson is DOBBERNATIONLOVES’ Publisher and Editor-in-Chief. Andrew has a background in traditional media with past stories appearing on top Canadian outlets including Travel + Escape, Metro News, Vancouver Sun, The Province, Daily Xtra, Dreamscapes Magazine and Eat in Eat Out. Andrew also acted as a regular travel expert on Toronto’s ProudFM.
Andrew is also a sought-after public speaker. He’s spoken at TBEX Athens and TBEX Toronto on the topics of “A Taste of Place: Defining a Destination Through its Food Culture” and “How to Monetize Your Culinary Content.” Andrew also regularly speaks at his alma mater, the University of Guelph’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, on topics such as wine tourism and the cultural aspects of food. The University of Toronto has also invited Andrew to speak to post-graduate students about new media and influencer relations.
