A few summers ago I enjoyed my very first ferry trip to the Toronto Islands. I can’t believe it has taken me so long but leave it to stellar performers M.I.A, Interpol and Bjork to get me anywhere fast!
I spent the day walking about the island eating cheese fries and pizza slices, watching crowds play frisbee and enjoying how happy Torontonians are when the sun is out and the sky is blue. The views of downtown Toronto from the island are spectacular!
