Travel to Tofino, British Columbia

In the summer of my second year of University I lived in Victoria on Canada’s West Coast. At the end of the summer just before heading back to school in Ontario I took a road trip with my cousin Stefan to Vancouver Island’s hippy surfer paradise, Tofino. The drive from Victoria is scenic with plenty of opportunities to stop and visit famous national parks (full of massive trees) and even a shop which features a heard of live goats on its roof. There is a significant native population in the small town of Tofino and the local aboriginal museum has a great exhibit worth checking out. We enjoyed chilling out at beach, forest strolls and a whale watching boat trip which took us to the local hot springs. Seals, sea otters and bears! Oh My!
