Recently ranked as the worlds most beautiful place, the Milford Sound is a must-do for those visiting the South Island of New Zealand. I took the Milford Explorer tour which departs Queenstown early in the morning and stops at the picturesque Te Anau township on the lake before heading through the Homer Tunnel into Milford. Once there, we went on an unforgettable two hour boat cruise through soaring peaks, towering waterfalls and New Zealand nature at its best.
The weather was a bit gloomy but the waterfalls and Fjord’s created a beautiful mystique which allowed me to take a lot of brilliant photographs. A day of truly visually stunning scenery!
