Hard Rock Hotel London Ontario Weekend Getaway

Music, design, and hospitality collide at the Hard Rock Hotel London Ontario, the first Hard Rock Hotel to launch in Canada.

Located in the revitalized 100 Kellogg Lane, the property brings the brand’s signature rock-and-roll energy to Southwestern Ontario while transforming a historic industrial landmark into a contemporary lifestyle destination.

Canada’s First Hard Rock Hotel In London

The hotel sits within the massive 100 Kellogg Lane complex in London’s Old East Village, just minutes from downtown and near the Western Fair District.

Once a Kellogg’s cereal factory, the site has been reinvented as one of Canada’s largest indoor entertainment hubs, home to restaurants, attractions, and event spaces. The addition of the Hard Rock Hotel positions the complex as a tourism anchor for the region, attracting visitors from across Ontario and beyond.

Interior Design

The London, Ontario hotel blends historic industrial architecture with contemporary luxury design. Original brick elements from the former Kellogg building have been preserved and combined with modern materials such as stone tile, steel, and skylights.

Guests arrive beneath a dramatic porte-cochère marked by a 32-foot-tall sculptural metallic guitar, handcrafted in London, which serves as both an architectural statement and a nod to the brand’s music heritage.

Inside the lobby, historic brick walls, natural light from skylights, and curated displays of music memorabilia create a gallery-like space celebrating Canada’s musical legacy. Artifacts from iconic Canadian musicians, including legends like Shania Twain, Gord Downie, Celine Dion and Alanis Morissette, connect the global Hard Rock brand with the country’s music culture.

The boutique-style hotel features 164 guest rooms and specialty suites, each designed with music-inspired décor and floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the entertainment complex.

Music is integrated directly into the guest experience through Hard Rock’s “Sound of Your Stay” program. Guests can stream curated playlists, spin vinyl on in-room record players, or even have a Fender guitar delivered to their room for a private jam session.

Dining

Food and nightlife are central to the Hard Rock experience, and the London property introduces several distinct venues, many of which boast nightly DJ or live music entertainment:

  • Sessions Restaurant & Bar: The hotel’s main dining room is designed with recording-studio inspiration and industrial elements such as exposed steel beams and reclaimed wood. The restaurant offers an energetic all-day dining experience and a terrace overlooking the historic courtyard. We recommend visiting for a decadent weekend brunch or romantic dinner.
  • 1913 Speakeasy: A hidden cocktail bar named after the year the Kellogg factory first opened, featuring mixologist-driven libations. If you’re feeling peckish pop by for dinner or a late night bite with a creative menu featuring Asian (bang bang shrimp), Latin (pork cheek tacos) and Canadian (duck poutine) cuisine.
  • GMT-5 Lobby Bar: The hotel’s lobby bar is located in the heart of the hotel, open from noon to 11pm. Enjoy a selection of cocktails, local Ontario wines and craft beers. The menu reads like an elevated Canadian dinner party featuring Devilled Eggs, Shrimp Cocktail, and Hot Crab Dip.
