Azure Restaurant at The Royal Hawaiian

If you’re looking to indulge in one fine dinner while holidaying in Honolulu a skip through Waikiki’s iconic luxury hotel, The Royal Hawaiian will do the trick. Stroll under pretty palms, wander around the hotel’s breezy verandah flanked lobby and enjoy a few rum splashed sips at Mai Tai Bar while enjoying jaw dropping views of Oahu’s Diamond Head at sunset.

Once you’ve finished muddling with mai tai, margarita and mojito tip toe through the elegant dinning room at Azure. The hotel’s signature restaurant embraces sleek contemporary design elements blended with timeless elegance. As guests enter Azure they are greeted by a mother-of-pearl mosaic wall which leads to a bejeweled oceanfront space adorned with intimate candles, plush banquettes and pillows. The dramatic interior design features a variety of materials and textures inspired by the beach such as natural stone and polished wood.

Chef Saymus Alwin brings the freshest fish to the table from the Honolulu Fish Auction at Pier 38 each morning – the only fish market of its kind between Tokyo and Maine. Whether it is ahi, onaga, opakapaka, or moi that whets your appetite – perfectly prepared locally caught fish are Azure’s namesake. Highlights from our “under the sea” Hawaiian Island inspired feast include Maui Beet Salad with creamy local goat cheese, aromatic Hibachi Garlic Kauai Shrimp, lobster tail topped Hawaii Ranchers Ribeye, Mahi Mahi paired with a duo of ewa corn and petite sweet Date Nut Pudding.
