Wayne Gretzky’s Oasis Rooftop Patio in Toronto

I met my dad for dinner on one of the hottest days of the summer. We sat on a cabana-chic rooftop patio located directly above Wayne Gretzky’s Restaurant and stared into the sun. Considered one of the best in town, a faux waterfall babbles, strings of white lights twinkle, and partygoers order barbecue and buckets of mini Coronas at Oasis Rooftop Patio.

We sat on comfy patio furniture while sipping ice cold mojitos and martinis. A mandatory thirst quench required after biking to dinner in what seemed like a hot as heat oven. The menu here is BBQ centric and completely different from the menu in the dining room and pub downstairs. We enjoyed a duo of Mexican inspired bites with Baja Chicken Tacos and Brie and Pear Quesadilla. During the day the spot offers one of the most beautiful outdoor venues downtown to grab a drink and work on your tan. In the evenings lights twinkle and the stars above sparkle for the rowdy bar crowd.
