Find the Best Soup in Toronto at RaviSoups

On Adelaide just east of Spadina sits one of the districts most popular lunch spots. RaviSoups serves up a short-and-sweet menu of daily soups and wraps which people line up forever to get their hands on every lunch hour.

The kitchen is a tiny little open concept station which seems to churn out orders every few seconds. It reminded me a bit of rush in a busy Starbucks at 6am.

Everyone in the kitchen knew their place and role and worked with determination. Once lunches were packed in paper bags, numbers are called and the food soon disappears into the streets and into the work offices of hundreds of soup loving business people.

I ordered:

Roasted free range chicken with roasted yams, baby spinach, caramelized onions, tomato chutney and chipolte mayo.

Cheddar cheese biscuit with red pepper jelly.

Butternut squash soup with asian pear and lemon grass.
