Quan Anh Dao (which means Cherry Blossom) located on the east side of Spadina just north of Dundas is one of the cities much loved authentic Vietnamese restaurants. Meaghan and I ran to the restaurant after a long week of work. Restorative broths are a must for a late Friday dinner as it helps calm the nerves after a rigorous work week and sets the mood for an adventurous weekend. The lemongrass pork chop was perfectly grilled and the meat was so crispy and perfect it brought me back to my first spicy Viet-chop which I enjoyed in Hue Vietnam. Pho was a delight and a great stress reducer after a long week of work.
We ordered:
Lemongrass porkchop with rice
Rare beef pho with brisket
Fried imperial rolls with minced lean pork and taro
