Fairmont Royal York High Tea in Toronto

I had the pleasure of visiting The Library Bar twice during my Weekend at The Fairmont Royal York Hotel. My first visit was for a few drinks prior to my restaurant review at Epic. My first two beverages were on the special Queens Jubilee Cocktail List, such a special treat.

The Koh-i-Noor

Named after the legendary 105 carat diamond which forms the center piece of the Crown of Queen Elizabeth II. Pressed cucumber, Hendricks Gin, Elderflower liqueur and ice cold Moet and Chandon with crystallized rose petal and spritz of lemon essence.

Largest Flawless Diamond in existence. Fresh Ontario Strawberries with Royal York honey and Eight Below Icewine Vodka

After our St Lawrence Market tour the following morning we popped into the Library Bar once more to enjoy the hotel’s traditional High Tea program. Mike and I each selected our favorite loose leaf teas and spent the next few hours sampling sweet pastries and savoury dainty sandwiches.
