Review: Insomnia Cafe, Toronto

I enjoyed a sluggish morning with Meaghan at Insomnia Cafe after a hard hitting night of beer indulgence. Insomnia Cafe is one of the most popular brunch spots in the city and most certainly a favorite in The Annex hood. We found comfy chairs at the back of the restaurant and fumbled through our menus. The restaurant has a great bar space and the walls are decked out with work created by local artists. Our server was a charmer, bringing us two “glasses of orange juice” in shot glasses to give us a bit of a vitamin boost.

We enjoyed:

toast with fruit salad

eggs bennie: peameal bacon with house made hollandaise, homefries tossed in sweet BBQ sauce and baby green salad
