Migneron de Charlevoix is a pasteurized cows milk cheese crafted by La Maison d’Affinage Maurice Dufour in Quebec. This is one of the earliest of the new wave of Quebec craft cheese to win praise across Canada. Migneron de Charlevoix is fragrant, sweet and toasty, with balanced flavours at once floral, fruity and savoury. This semi-soft surface-ripened washed rind cheese has an ivory white paste with gentle aromas of cream and yoghurt. Winner of the 2002 Canadian Cheese Grand Prix, Grand Champion Prize!
