Celtic Blue Cheese is produced by Glengarry Fine Cheese in Lancaster, Ontario. The Celtic Blue is a soft creamy blue cheese, with delicate blue veining and a limestone coloured natural rind. The typical blue taste is mild and not aggressive and is softened by a nice buttery aroma. Made with pasteurized cows milk and aged 2 – 3 months in a basket weave mold with natural rind. Celtic Blue placed 3rd at the American Cheese Society’s 2011 competition and was a finalist for the 2011 Canadian Cheese Grand Prix. Enjoy with porter, sweet white wine or sherry.
