The restaurant’s decadent dining room is a perfect place to slowly celebrate in the early evening. Take the time to sip through a piping hot pot of tea as the chef’s tasting menu offers whimsical bite sized treats. With elbows gently resting on white tablecloth and chopsticks on the ready I devoured a parade of plates which perfectly showcased the state of contemporary Cantonese cuisine. Highlights included crunchy pan-fried rice flour rolls with classic Cantonese-style barbecue pork, soya kissed cod fillet with taro puffs, spicy wasabi stir fried Japanese Wagyu beef and a steaming bowl of scallop, avocado and ham flecked fried rice.
