My sister and I were traveling together so were happy that our junior suite was furnished with two plush queen size beds. Upon arrival guests are offered a tour of their room followed by a welcoming foot bath, fit for a King. The bathroom is outfitted with chic amenities by celebrated Italian fashion icon Roberto Cavalli which will keep you smelling fresh on the daily.

After spending a long day walking on the beach while soaking up the sun your muscles may just need a moment of rest and relaxation. Terra Wellness Spa at Discovery Shores offers a tranquil oasis surrounded by breezy palms just a stones throw from the beach. Terra’s spa menu features facials, scrubs, wraps, foot therapy and massage. Romance your muscles via Terra’s Touch, a deeply relaxing massage which combines slow and graceful gliding strokes that are applied to various pressure points of the body to relieve tension.

The best spot to enjoy a thirst quenching swim is a hop, skip and a jump from the beach. Discovery Shores is located a stones throw from Boracay’s famous warm, turquoise waters which are world renowned for their long and shallow sand bars. You can walk out into the sea for almost 300 metres with the water reaching no higher than your waist, a perfect spot to wade for novice swimmers, or an ideal perch to sip an ice cold beer while waving back at your bartender.

Each morning guests at Discovery Shores Boracay tip toe through the resort’s sun-soaked Sands Restaurant. It’s here you wake up to the world, sipping a frothy cappuccino while watching breezy palms sway in the soft sun.

At breakfast guests can be seen eagerly topping their plates along a generous brunch buffet. The dishes on offer change on the daily to keep flavours fresh and typically include Filipino favourites (two helpings of Chicken Adobe please), Korean classics (kimchi topped bulgogi) and Western classics (French Toast, pancakes and those bacon and egg essentials).

The best spot to enjoy Boracay’s jaw-dropping sunset each eve is at Sands Bar. Settle in on a chic beach lounge chair, or take a spot by the bar as you sip on a parade of freshly muddled cocktails. Highlights from our mixologist include classic Mojito and a refreshing Pineapple Lychee Sangria.

If you’re looking to treat that special someone to a romantic dinner spend an evening nibbling under the stars at Discover Shores’s Indigo Restaurant. Perfect for honeymooner’s, Indigo’s Table for Two by the Beach is a private dinner where guests get a chance to dig their toes into the sand while sipping fine wine under the night sky. Our mugs were smug after tucking into a elegant al fresco space surrounded by freshly cut flowers, soft lights and swoon-worthy music.

Let your personal butler tend to your every culinary craving while spooning your way through the chef’s set menu. Highlights from our unforgettable beach feast include line-caught Yellow Fin Tuna Niçoise, a sweet bowl of Roasted Tomato Soup, carnivores delight Prime Angus Ribeye accompanied by shallot confit topped potato dauphinoise and sweet finish Caramel Sea Salt Cheesecake.
