Travel to Sydney, Australia

I arrived in Sydney after a quick jaunt in South Australia where I had a chance to visit Adelaide, the great wineries of The Barossa Valley and Kangaroo Island. I stayed with my friend Mike at his apartment in Tamarama, a stones throw from the cities famous Bondi Beach. I spent the next two weeks exploring the city in a very relaxed way. Some days I just stayed at home and did a walk around the beach. I felt like less of a tourist now, after traveling for 2 1/2 years you can start to find yourself at home anywhere. I didn’t have to force myself to strap on my Canon G10 and take pictures the beauty that is Sydney. Highlights include the exhibit of Yayoi Kusama by the Harbour, all day brunch at Gazebo Wine Garden, strolling along the Harbour and taking in the Sydney Opera House, the fantastic Art Gallery of New South Wales, plenty of delightful lunches in the cities many Asian resto hot spots, and the rather surreal We Love Sounds Festival experience. Sydney has a pulse and a beat that I can dance to.
