Savannah’s Prettiest Patio Found at Atlantic – A Neighbourhood Eatery

Located on the corner of Victoria Drive and Drayton Street in sunny Savannah, Atlantic – A Neighbourhood Eatery offers pretty plates, exquisite wines, carefully crafted cocktails, and a brilliant list of locally brewed beers.

Taking its name from the Atlantic Service Station, a former 1930s incarnation, this nouveau American eatery offers tweaks on tradition with seasonally inspired small-plates in an open concept space that feels bright and modern. During the warmer months of the year, the restaurant’s huge wrap-around patio (outfitted with its own fire pit) makes the Atlantic Savannah’s hottest al fresco dining ticket.

White, blue and orange decor reflects the buildings history alongside gas station-inspired light bulbs out front. Indoor seating faces the bar and the kitchen or the large, wall-sized steel windows. The artwork which decorates the white walls are repurposed and reprinted post-Depression-style posters which promote the enjoyment of hearty meals and swoon-worthy spirit-muddled libations.

Jason Restivo’s menu is organized into four sections: cool bites, warm bites, small bites, and big plates. Each entree is small enough to share at the table, but big enough to order on your own if you’re feeling possessive over your plate. With a small closet cellar of 160 wine selections, 18 of those served by the glass, there are plenty of options for oenophiles. Highlights from the kitchen include Sautéed Shrimp with lemon butter and crispy prosciutto, the signature Pastrami Sandwich, Romaine Wedge topped with bacon wrapped dates and blue cheese dressing, and crispy Pork Belly Confit paired with brussels sprouts, roasted grapes, Chinese five spice, and hoisin.
