A teenage obsession with Jimi Hendrix followed by four years of jazz school, hundreds of bluegrass jams, and a European tour with a gypsy pop band have contributed in equal parts to the musician known as Ryan Carr. A multi-instrumentalist who spent years playing guitar, mandolin, and harmonica with a wide variety of artists such as Eric Ness (BBC Radio, National German Television, #13 iTunes Charts in Norway), Mark Harrison (BBC Radio, Blues Review), and The Snakeoil Rattlers, Ryan learned his craft by playing countless gigs with incredible musicians. Eventually, after a number of co-writing credits, he decided to try his hand at his own music and has been pursing that path ever since. He owns and operates Barn Owl Music and continues to perform in and around Toronto.
