Toblerone Brownies

Ingredients

  • 220 ml Canola Oil
  • 150 g Semisweet Chocolate
  • 350 g Toblerone chopped, divided
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 275 g White Sugar
  • 100 g All Purpose Flour
  • 40 g Cocoa Powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 340 F and line a 9x9″ square cake pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat stir together oil, semisweet chocolate and 150g chopped Toblerone until melted. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl whisk together the eggs and sugar until the colour has turned a pale yellow and the volume has doubled.
  • Slowly pour the cooled chocolate sauce into the sugar and egg mixture. Gently fold together.
  • Once combined, sift in the cocoa powder and flour then gently fold together.
  • Fold in 150g of chopped Toblerone and pour into the prepared tin. Sprinkle remaining 100g of chopped Toblerone evenly on top.
  • Bake brownies in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Once baked, leave to cool in the tin before slicing and serving.
