- 7 oz Shredded Gouda Cheese
- 2 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
- Vegetable Oil for frying
In a large mixing bowl mix the cheese, paprika, egg and cornstarch in a large bowl until a soft dough forms.
Scoop 2 teaspoons of dough and roll into a ball. Roll balls in bread crumbs for an extra crispy coating. Refrigerate cheese balls until thoroughly chilled, about 30 minutes.
In a wok, heat oil over high heat (350°F for deep frying). Fry cheese balls until golden brown, turning once, about 30-60 seconds per side.
Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite sauce for dipping.
