Toblerone Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1 tsp Almond Extract
  • 1.5 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 100 g Toblerone Bar finely chopped
  • 200 g Toblerone Bar sliced into large chunks

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 F. Line baking sheet with parchment.
  • In a stand up mixer with a paddle attachement cream butter, sugar and almond extract until light and fluffy.
  • Add flour and cornstarch gradually while beating continuously. Add chopped Toblerone pieces.
  • Drop 2 tablespoons worth of dough and slightly flatten onto baking sheet. Squish a Toblerone chunk into the middle of each cookie.
  • Bake for 15-17 minutes. Let cool on a rack before serving.
