Ingredients

  • 3 Ripe Avocados peeled, seeded
  • 5 Tomatillos husked, quartered
  • 2 Scallions chopped
  • 2 Serrano Chiles chopped
  • 2 Jalapeno Peppers chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves peeled
  • 1 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 1 Lime juiced
  • 1.5 tsp Kosher Salt

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor on medium low speed, puree the avocados, tomatillos, scallions, serranos, jalapenos, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and salt until smooth. Do not blend at a higher speed or it will develop an airy consistency.
  • Season with salt and serve with nachos or as a salsa for tacos.
