Caramelized Onions
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 Vidalia or White Onion finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Dip
- 2 cups Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 cups Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Sweet Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium low heat. Add onion, stirring to evenly coat then drizzle with honey. Cook for 10 minutes, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Continue cooking for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every couple minutes, until onions are golden brown and caramelized. Set aside to cool.
Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl whisk together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, sweet paprika, chili powder and lemon juice.
Add caramelized onions and stir to combine.
Serve with potato chips, nachos, carrots sticks and celery as a deliciously healthy snack dip.
