Hotel Mercurio - Gay Friendly

LikedStaff was like family. Older, but very comfortable hotel that is one block from the beach, with an exquisite restaurant menu and evening entertainment.

LikedMercurio is a gay men's hotel in the perfect location of Puerto Vallarta. The included breakfast is delicious and many choices are offered. The staff are friendly and efficient.

DislikedThe room was adequate but not luxurious.

LikedAttentive and friendly staff who will go above and beyond to service the guests. Hardy and gourmet breakfast made to order with variety of Western and Mexican food options on daily basis. Fresh squeezed OJ and fresh baked bread (multigrain, wheat and sourdough) with Nutella spread. Good food serve for lunch and dinner. Centrally located and walking distance to beach, shopping areas, restaurants, stores, and tourist sights. Transportation we arranged to/from the airport to hotel are both reliable. Good happy hour, meeting other guests and local people. Had a bonus on our last night to grace and enjoyed the debut of Open Microphone Karaoke at the hotel hosted by Nick Rogers and Fernandina. Muchos Gracias - Joselo, Gabriel, Jorge, Poleth (welcoming smile), Hugo and Carmen (who handled my special request for our room.)

DislikedNo hand rail on stairs and no elevator.

DislikedIt is hard to get any better. The staff treats their visitors like 'family'.

LikedThe location was at best 2 blocks from the beach. The place was very clean, and the staff was ever so friendly. The staff met all our needs with just a single ask and in a most expedient manner. I would recommend this place to any who wishes to travel to Puerto Vallarta.

DislikedThere were no real issues.
