The hotel is 15 minute walking distance from the Leaning tower of Pisa. The room itself was clean and the people were courtseous.

LikedAs other people mentioned that the hotel is major renovation. I booked this hotel for my family, I was ashamed to book this hotel even the hotel is 5 stars.

LikedIt was a nice hotel in a fairly good location. The staff were lovely. The restaurant and bar were very good.
DislikedThe fact that we obviously didn’t do enough research and it was closed season so the swimming pool and fitness centre were closed and the air conditioning wasn’t on despite it being 27 degrees

If this hotel claims to be a 5-star establishment, then I must be the Pope of Italy. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the reality did not match the advertised luxury. Firstly, the hotel was undergoing extensive construction, which was not mentioned anywhere before booking. The pool and gym, advertised amenities, were both out of service. This lack of transparency was disappointing and misleading. Upon check-in, we were assigned a room right by the exit door, resulting in constant noise disturbances throughout the night as the door kept slamming shut. When we requested a room change, we were told that the hotel was fully booked, despite noticing that half of the hotel remained empty and rooms were still available for booking online. Furthermore, the heating hanger in the bathroom was dysfunctional, and despite assurances from staff that they would address the issue, it was never resolved. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities such as tea/coffee facilities and a kettle, despite being listed in the room description. While the room itself was of adequate size and cleanliness, it felt outdated and in need of renovation. The breakfast offered at the hotel was acceptable, but the service was subpar. Staff were slow and inefficient, struggling to manage the few tables that were occupied. The dining area was unkempt, with dirty dishes left uncleared and a shortage of cutlery and napkins. In summary, while the hotel may offer decent value for money considering the expensive accommodation options in Pisa, the overall lack of quality customer service and failure to meet basic expectations for a purported 5-star establishment left much to be desired. The location was quite convenient, 20min walk to the fields of miracles and center.
