- 8 slices Sourdough Bread
- 4 Large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Table Cream
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 cup Berries (Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries)
- 1 cup Banana sliced
Preheat oven to 200F.
Whisk together eggs, table cream, milk, vanilla extract nutmeg and cinnamon in a casserole dish.
Dip thick slices of stale sourdough bread into egg mixture, being sure to coat evenly on both sides.
Preheat non-stick pan over medium heat and add a dab of butter. Once butter is melted add 2 slices of Sourdough French Toast at a time. Let each side fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Store French Toast in preheated oven on a baking sheet to keep warm until ready to serve.
Serve French Toast with fresh berries, sliced banana and drizzle of maple syrup.
