Ingredients

  • 8 slices Sourdough Bread
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Table Cream
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup Berries (Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries)
  • 1 cup Banana sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200F.
  • Whisk together eggs, table cream, milk, vanilla extract nutmeg and cinnamon in a casserole dish.
  • Dip thick slices of stale sourdough bread into egg mixture, being sure to coat evenly on both sides.
  • Preheat non-stick pan over medium heat and add a dab of butter. Once butter is melted add 2 slices of Sourdough French Toast at a time. Let each side fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Store French Toast in preheated oven on a baking sheet to keep warm until ready to serve.
  • Serve French Toast with fresh berries, sliced banana and drizzle of maple syrup.
