Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Fresh Ginger minced
  • 4 Scallions sliced, whites and greens seperated
  • 3 tbsp Canola Oil
  • 3 tbsp Miso
  • 1 1/2 lb Ground Pork
  • 3 tbsp Mirin
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  • In a nonstick skillet over medium high heat, cook ginger and scallion whites in the oil, stirring, until fragrant. Add the miso and cook, stirring constantly, until the miso darkens.
  • Add the ground pork, mirin, soy sauce and 1/3 cups water, then cook, stirring to break up the meat, until the liquid evaporates and the meat begins to crisp.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of water. Serve garnished with scallion greens and sesame seeds.
