- 3 tbsp Fresh Ginger minced
- 4 Scallions sliced, whites and greens seperated
- 3 tbsp Canola Oil
- 3 tbsp Miso
- 1 1/2 lb Ground Pork
- 3 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
In a nonstick skillet over medium high heat, cook ginger and scallion whites in the oil, stirring, until fragrant. Add the miso and cook, stirring constantly, until the miso darkens.
Add the ground pork, mirin, soy sauce and 1/3 cups water, then cook, stirring to break up the meat, until the liquid evaporates and the meat begins to crisp.
Remove from the heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of water. Serve garnished with scallion greens and sesame seeds.
