- 1 lb Beef Sirloin or Rib Eye Steak cut into bite sized cubes
- 5 Garlic Cloves minced
- 1 tsp Maggi Sauce
- 2 tsp Fish Sauce
- 1 tsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- Black Pepper and Salt
- 1 tbsp Peanut oil for cooking
- 2 cup Packed Arugula
- 4 Small Roma Tomatoes sliced
- 2 tbsp Fried Shallots
- 1 Lime cut into wedges
In a mixing bowl, combine the beef cubes with minced garlic, Maggi sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce and brown sugar. Generously season with salt and pepper. Set aside to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Place a wok over high heat, then add peanut oil.
Add the marinated beef to the wok and cook for 3-5 minutes, until the meat is slightly charred. Stir constantly by shaking the wok back and forth.
Spoon the beef over a bed of arugula and tomato slices. Sprinkle with fried shallots and spritz with lime wedge. Serve with steamed jasmine rice.
