Amari Phuket

Liked- Room was very clean and comfort. - Wifi was great. - Location is the best in Patong for who wants to have a calm stay and can be in the most active place in Phuket within few minutes. - Breakfast buffet was amazing with lots of variety everyday .. We stayed for 4/5 nights and we didn't get bored from the daily breakfast.

Disliked- Using the stairs to move between the rooms and the resort facilities was tiring, especially if there were elderly people. The stone stairs were strange, but at the same time they were beautiful because you felt like you were walking among the mountains in nature. - The swimming pool is good, but in this type of resort it is preferable to create something specifically for children, such as slides or the like, so that they can spend a long and enjoyable time in the pool. - The resort overlooks the sea, which is a beautiful thing, but it would be nicer if there was a small private beach for the hotel directly in contact with the sea.

LikedAlthough the property was delightful

DislikedOur stay was hindered by the challenge of accessing the beach with a small child. The one-way road back from Patang Beach meant taxis were unavailable, necessitating a lengthy walk. Despite this inconvenience, everything else about the experience was enjoyable.

LikedThe staff are exceptional, going above and beyond to cater to us. We took our newborn 4 month old baby and they constantly made sure he was cool and happy. The staff even retained a baby bathtub that we had bought 2 yrs earlier on our previous stay. The food at the hotel was better than some of the local 5 star restaurants. Highly recommend the seafood buffet and the mango sticky rice from the rim talay restaurant. The room had some minor issues which were rectified immediately. One was the water was disconnected and the washing machine broke, both fixed within 30 minutes. We loved the location. It was far enough away to be quiet at night (2 little ones) but close enough to not cost to get into the heart of it. A tuktuk usually cost 200 baht. Special thanks to Na, Bobou, Jincy, Joy, Monticha and Cream. Made our trip with your help and smiles.

DislikedI didn't like how some of the other guests treated the staff. I've stayed in 6 different hotels in Phuket and the staff at Amari are head and shoulders above the rest, so to see people bark orders at them, or disregard their existence when they're trying to help was frustrating.
