Review: Belljar Cafe, Toronto

Roslyn and I had just taken a quick road trip to Guelph and arrived in the Roncesvalles hood and were so famished for lunch. She suggested one of her favorite local cafes. We hopped into Belljar Cafe and shared two sandwiches and a square. Belljar serves up a great selection of classic espresso based beverages but most importantly offers a stunning view. You can hop up on a stool by the window and watch the street car hustle down the street.

We enjoyed:

spicy italian sandwich

eggplant, red pepper, mortadella, salami, capocollo

pesto turkey sandwich

avocado, swiss

peanut butter square

#340 restaurant reviewed in Ontario since moving to Toronto in 2010.
