Review: Earls King Street Patio, Toronto

Everyone loves a patio party. Especially on an afternoon in June when the humidity had the city sweltering through 40 degree temperatures. I arrived at Earls shortly after 4pm about to faint, as if I had just busted out of a Finnish sauna. I met my cousin Chris at the entrance and we were quickly seated at a table on the restaurants famous patio. This would be my third visit to Earls and my first on their patio. On my first visit I sat with my sister at their bar for a quick bite after drinking far too much beer at Steamwhistle’s Oktoberfest Party. I coordinated a proper tasting of their winter menu on my second visit and invited a few friends along for the ride.

The patio was jam packed full of Bay Streeter’s who eyed me enviously while I lounged in my casual short and t-shirt combination. Everyone was knocking down Corona’s and sampling Fish Taco’s and Beef Skewers that made their way around the space by waitresses dressed in short shorts, heels and shades. This was my first patio moment in Toronto, fresh off the plane from Stockholm. Nice treat, just before we left we were joined at the table by team View the Vibe.  Earls patio will surely be jam packed this summer. Just be sure not to faint on your way over.

I sampled (* notes my favorites):
