Nora is a popular shawarma and falafal joint on Spadina at Richmond. Seconds from my office, I was joined by my coworker Jeff for lunch just before my trip to South America. The place was warm and smelled of fried garlic (heaven) a thin haze of roasting smoke wafted through the air which was a delight. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate which was served with rice, roast potatoes, pickles, cabbage, salad and tabbouleh. If you are in the Fashion District craving shawarma I think Nora’s does a better job than Ali Babas.
#262 restaurant reviewed in Ontario since moving to Toronto in 2010.
