I studied at the University of Guelph, home of the Sleeman’s Brewery. I spent the evening of my 21st birthday at the brewery enjoying their tour and tasting. Their Honey Brown is one of my favorite beers out of Ontario. Everyone who knows me well (or has spent any time in my kitchen, or pursuing my blog recipes) will know that I am a huge fan of honey. I add it to pasta sauces, baked goods and hell I even like it in my beer!
Sleeman’s Honey Brown boasts a rich copper with a creamy, off-white foam, creating a full-bodied lager with a touch of natural honey and a slightly sweet finish. The distinctive clover honey notes in this fine brew accent the aromas of toasted grain and caramel.
