When I heard that Greggy would be visiting me in Toronto I knew the first place I had to take him on our food tour was the recently opened Nadege boutique in Summerhill. Greggy is a famous cake baker from TLC’s Next Great Baker and has a love for macarons (which Nadege has become famous for in Toronto). He actually has an educational video on how to make macarons on his youtube channel which you can watch HERE. One of my favorite places to relax in Toronto and catch up with friends is the Nadege cafe at Trinity Bellwoods. The owner who brings her expertise from Lyon recently opened up this new space which is less of a cafe (there is no space to sit) and more of a specialty sweets boutique. Beautiful tarts were placed at the large window, enticing us to march through the door.
We ordered our favorites and since we were unable to sit down, walked down the street and enjoyed our snacks with a latte at Terroni’s Bar Centrale before indulging in lunch.
