I am ever so thrilled to finally unveil my little bachelor, Apartment 1801…The Sequel. As many of you know my apartment suffered from an unfortunate flood this summer. It has taken me just over two months to get the space back in livable order. With a bit of elbow grease, patience and many nails wacked into the wall this place finally feels like home again. It’s the same space with new floors, paint and furniture but maintains my classic hyper-sensory design style with a focus on functionality and inspirations from travel and food.
You can check out the look of the original Apartment 1801 HERE. I would like to thank Erica: my friend, ex room mate and design aficionado for helping me put the finishing touches on the place. We lived with each other for just over a year when I first moved to the city in our Parkdale Palace on King Street West. We were ever so excited last year when our home was featured in the famed design blog Apartment Therapy. It is interesting to see how certain pieces of my collection have found a new home over the years. You can check out the Apartment Therapy review, entitled Bohemian Cupcake, HERE.
I am looking forward to sharing this new space with my friends and family. Many a cocktail creation, roast beast and dance party shall take place in 2012. #powpowpow #!!!
