Apparently I am the only person in Toronto who was unaware that New York Fries launched a burger joint concept called South St. Burger Co. When visiting my family in Oakville for the weekend my dad suggested we pop in for dinner to check it out. We ordered our own burgers and dressed them according to our preferred tastes. I also ordered a New York Fries Poutine and their strawberry milkshake.
The ingredients they use are all fresh and top drawer. I would mention that their buns need to be a bit more sturdy. My burger split in half and dripped all over the table which could have been prevented if a better bun was being utilized. We visited the restaurant that recently opened at Trafalgar Road and Cornwall just beside the Whole Foods Market. The location has plenty of indoor seating with fun promotional signage as well as a cute patio out front. Milk shakes were rich and wonderful so make sure to grab one!
