Everyone in the King/Spadina Hood is talking about Sense Appeal Coffee Roasters.This new indie coffee shop has been all the talk on social media darlings twitter and Facebook. These savvy owners started a marketing campaign: free coffee for every 100 Likes on Facebook). The shop hit 400 Likes on February 15th so I walked over to their shop on Spadina at the intersection of Adelaide to check it out.
What a funky little coffee lab they have! Check out their awesome t-shirts and other merchandise a la’ periodic table circa Grade 8 Science Class. The Barista’s here are overwhelmingly attractive (10 points) and pastry case is filled with chocolate and hazelnut treats.
The free Americano I enjoyed hit the spot. Definitely a great place to grab a coffee and do a bit of journaling, people watching or reading. Grab a seat on a bar stool by the window and watch the Spadina Streetcar zoom by.
