Concha Y Toro is one of the worlds largest producers of wine (and the largest in South America) located in Chile with vineyards south of Santiago. Tourists flock to the Concha Y Toro winery just south of Santiago (a great day trip to get out of the city)! You can see my travel babble on my visit to their winery HERE.
Concha Y Toro’s Sunrise Label’s are promoted as wines located in a growing region where they receive 300 days of sun per year, allowing winemakers to craft expressive, deep and lush wines.
“The lush Cabernet Sauvignon is the result of the warm and dry summer conditions in the Central Valley that provides our grapes with depth and richness. Sheltered between the coastal range and the Andes Mountains, the vineyards enjoy cool night-time temperatures that add to the refined character.”
The bottle is a well balanced red wine with juicy blackberry flavours and hints of cassis, chocolate, dry plums and a touch of vanilla.
Perfect for a random house party on a Friday night in The Village.
