Review: Terroni’s, Toronto

Terroni’s Restaurant at 720 Queen Street West has been serving up traditional Southern Italian food since 1992. To many Terroni’s is Toronto’s best go to spot for authentic Italian cuisine. A comfortable ambiance overlooking Queen Street Wests many great shops…the space is always full of foodies.

On my first visit I sat at a large harvest table with several of my friends. I felt like I was sitting at an Italian families dinner table…stellar service and attention to detail make Terroni’s a must visit dining establishment.

I particularly enjoyed the menu’s mention, “While modifications may seem easily accommodated, such requests compromise the unique characteristics of our food and the efficiency of our service. Please respect our menu.”

And for that Terroni’s I throw you a wallop of mad respect. So, picky eaters stay home while serious Italiano-philes rejoice!

We consumed a delightful array of goodies: complimentary Italian ciabatta with extra virgin olive oil, lemon water, Duck Confit Fig and Forest Mushroom Ravioli, fresh Gnocchi with marinara and ricotta, spaghetti with spinach and garlic, a fantastic pizza with white sauce, walnuts, honey, parma ham and marinated pears.

#3 restaurant reviewed in Ontario since moving to Toronto in 2010.
